It may be cropping systems engineers, wholesale or even retail business managers, propagators & tissue culture specialists (fruit, vegetables, ornamentals, & turf), crop inspectors, crop production consultant, extension specialists, plant stock breeder, the food and drug administration man of science, and naturally, teachers.

College courses that complement Gardening come biology, botany, bugology, chemistry, maths, genetic science, physiology, savings comparisons, computing, & communications. Plant science and horticulture courses include: plant materials, plant propagation, tissue culture, crop production, post-harvest handling, plant breeding, pollination management, crop nutrition, entomology, plant pathology, economics, & business. Occasionally careers inside horticultural science necessitate the edgar lee masters (MS) or even doctorial (PhD) degree.
